Ozbozz Lightburst Scooter & Kiddimoto Goggle Helmet

Ozbozz Lightburst Scooter & Kiddimoto Goggle Helmet

The scooter lights up like a discotheque, which is just as well because Ella loves dancing! We can’t keep her off it, indoors or out. Where Ella goes, her “Disco Scooter” goes.

We bought this at Tesco on offer for £23 and it was worth every penny.

Wooden Playhouse Set with Ladder, Slide & Swings

  s-l1600 (3)

We bought this in the last weeks of summer to entertain the monsters. It took a few days to get it put up (thanks to my husband’s general lack of building skills) but even he managed it in the end:)

It had only been up a couple of days before Harrison learned to properly swing by himself, without being pushed; a feat he never could master on play parks. So now he’s having all his mates round, trying to teach them, which is harder to explain than you think.

The slide is a big hit with both kids and it’s nice that they don’t have to argue over whose turn it is on the swing (being a double one). So all in all it’s been well worth the money, and looks good in the garden too.

P.S. We added a few more pieces of wood on the side of “climbing wall” so it now goes all the way to the top, mind you we still need to attach the grips:)

Ella wears:

Long White Hot Air Balloon Printed Cardigan upcycled by mummy (me) from PRIMARK ladies cardigan.

Grey Check Fleecy Leggings from ZARA.

Pink Glitter Wellies from MOTHERCARE.

Harrison wears:

White Stripy Sweat from KIDS BY LINDEX

Camouflage Joggers from ZARA.

Green DUNLOP wellies.

Schwinn Roadster Trike

Ella is going to have some serious street cred once the local kids have seen her out and about on this Schwinn Roadster Trike!  She’s just about big enough to reach the pedals when the seat is fitted in its forward position but hasn’t quite got the technique down yet. No matter, she’s currently pushing herself around using her feet and looking super cool while doing so, I’m sure you’d agree!

Chad Valley Aquarium Activity Pool – 8.5ft – 308 Litres

This extra wide paddling pool proved to be a “big splash” with Harrison and Ella. They loved filling it up with the hose pipe and inflating the slide and underwater creatures. Unfortunately we didn’t realise our hose pipe was about half a metre too short to reach the palm tree fountain/sprinkler or we’d have put it closer to the house:(

The pool gave us a fantastic weekend while the heatwave lasted and well into the following week after school. It’s currently sitting in the garage waiting for our next sunny spell, and this time I’ll remember to put it closer to the house!

Top tip, if you have an outdoor (or even an indoor) slide you can easily make a white knuckle slide ride such is the size of the pool from side to side.

Happy splashing!
